Space and friendly service in the spacious outdoor area. Vegetarian pizzas in a class of their own! Otherwise good standard Witshaus kitchen. Beer well chilled. Unertl wheat beer and Rosenheimer Flötzinger beer on offer. Great place to relax before or after circumnavigating Lake Egglburg. External parking space very scarce.

Highly recommended ... despite the "rush to start school" we would be welcomed very nicely and shown to the last free beer garden table. Drinks would be brought quickly. Despite the fact that all tables were occupied, our food, freshly prepared and extremely tasty, arrived after about 25 minutes. 3 very nice waitresses, wupped the rush soverän. You should always keep in mind that the service staff have to wear a face mask for the entire service in the warm temperatures and have additional work with the corona regulations, but still made our guests' stay a very pleasant one. 5 stars for the kitchen and the service staff!

Simple inn perfectly located for an afternoon stroll around the Eglsee. Bavarian menu with a few unexpected and in my view unnecessary exotic dishes (maybe that was just an exception) ... we stayed down to earth - and it tasted very good. Service was quick and friendly.
